Calling potential new members

Rehearsals for the new term start on 2 September and we always welcome new members, in particular we need more men to join. Camerata Singers is a friendly, enthusiastic choir and is open to everyone, regardless of musical ability. Our aim is to encourage people to enjoy singing together as a choir

During rehearsals, members get help with their singing technique and how to interpret the music. There is no requirement to be able to read music, just a willingness to want to learn how to sing in a choir. Everyone is worried initially as to whether they will be good enough to join in. That is why rehearsals are relaxed and informal to help new members become part of the group.

Camerata Singers meet Wednesdays from 7:30pm at St. Helen’s School, Woodbridge Road, Ipswich IP4 2LT. New members always welcome, come to a rehearsal or call 01473 431873 or email for more information.

Happy New Year!

Camerata Singers return back after the Christmas break with rehearsals starting 7.30pm, 7 January 2015 at St. Helen’s School on Woodbridge Road, Ipswich. Will be looking forward to catching up with everyone and hopefully welcoming new members.

The Christmas concert held at Debenham was a great success and enjoyed by all who came along. Camerata Singers together with the Black Barn Singers were able to raise £300 for the Debenham Community Swimming Pool fund.

Preparations are already underway for our next concert, so watch this space!
